To qualify for assistance with Catholic Charities Dallas, the following documentation is needed:
Identification from applicant and co-applicant.
Proof of damage
Signed statement explaining how household was affected by disaster.
Ways we are able to assist (case-by-case basis based on need)
Limited Short-Term Hotel stays
Assistance for immediate needs
Limited general repairs as needed
Furniture/household goods
The program is designed to refer applicants in need to other resources in the community, to gauge needs and to assist where possible with unmet needs.
Assistance is available only for those living in one of the following counties: Collin, Dallas, Ellis, Fannin, Grayson, Hunt, Kaufman, Navarro, Rockwall
Must have damage to home or increased expenses due to the disaster.
Applicants should submit renters or insurance claims for damages in the home (if applicable)
Eligible applicants should apply for FEMA assistance (if applicable)
